Maceta reciclada de Trolls

En casa, a toda la familia nos encanta la franquicia Trolls. Su muy movida música hasta los colores vivos, vibrantes y brillantes de cada uno de sus personajes han permanecido en el gusto y preferencia de todos. Ahora los disfrutamos en casa viendo la serie animada de DreamWorksTV en Netflix: “Trolls: The Beat Goes On”. En especial tenemos una afinidad en Poppy, una chica simpática y optimista que se ha robado el corazón de mis niñas y como actividad familiar favorita disfrutamos el estar juntos haciendo manualidades ya que mientras creamos memorias inolvidables, fomentamos en nuestras niñas el cuidado del medio ambiente reciclando y reutilizando y las motivamos a ser creativas.

At home, the whole family loves the Trolls franchise. From the fast paced music to the bright and vibrant colors of each of the characters they have become a favorite must see and preference in our home. Now we can also enjoy them at home watching the animated DreamWorksTV series on Netflix: “Trolls: The Beat Goes On”. We have a special affinity for Poppy, a brilliant and optimistic girl who has stolen the hearts of my girls and as a favorite family activity we enjoy using our imagination together while also creating unforgettable memories, and encouraging our girls to take care of the environment by recycling and reusing and motivating them while being creative.

Para el regreso a clases, en nuestro último viaje de compras encontramos los jugos Tampico Beverages multipack con envoltura de Trolls, que resultan ser perfectos para acompañar cada una de las vivencias de nuestras hijas dentro y fuera de las aulas. El sabor Tropical punch es su favorito y las botellitas son perfectas para hacer proyectos de bricolaje en casa.

In getting ready to back to school, on our last shopping trip we found Troll wrapped Tampico 6-packs that are perfect to accompany each of our children’s experiences in and out the classroom. The Tropical Punch flavor is their favorite and the little bottles are perfect to do DIY projects at home.

Además les cuento que este agosto, Tampico ha lanzado su campaña “Tampico Flavor Hunt”, un juego interactivo basado en Instagram en asociación con la serie animada de DreamWorksTV, “Trolls: The Beat Goes On”. La caza lleva a los jugadores a través de cuatro mundos dentro de Troll Village para encontrar el paquete oculto Tampico “Trolls: The Beat Goes On”. Para participar, los jugadores visitarán la cuenta de Instagram de Tampico en línea o a través de la aplicación de Instagram. Existe la posibilidad de recolectar multipacks en todos los sabores irresistibles, como Tropical Punch, Citrus Punch y Blue Raspberry. Si los jugadores tienen éxito en el juego, serán ingresados para ganar una tarjeta de regalo de $100 de Netflix. 

Así que mientras participamos para la posibilidad de ganar el premio mayor, podemos reciclar y reutilizar las botellitas haciendo proyectos en familia. Nosotros nos inspiramos en Poppy y hemos creado una maceta de Trolls usando las botellitas de Tampico como material reciclable.  A continuación te compartimos nuestra idea.

I was also excited to find out that this past August, Tampico launched their campaign “Tampico Flavor Hunt”, an interactive game based on Instagram in association with the animated DreamWorksTV series, “Trolls: The Beat Goes On”. The hunt takes players through four worlds within the Troll Village to find the hidden Tampico 6-packs. To participate, players will visit Tampico’s Instagram account online or through the Instagram application. There is the possibility of collecting every irresistible flavor multipack, such as Tropical Punch, Citrus Punch and Blue Raspberry. If players are successful in the game, they will be entered to win a $100 Netflix gift card.

So while we participate for the possibility of winning the jackpot, we can recycle and reuse the bottles doing family projects. Having been inspired by our love of Poppy, we created a recycled Trolls flowerpot with the Tampico bottles. Here we share our idea.

Suministros necesarios:

• Contenedor plástico de Tampico vacío y limpio
• Tijeras
• Sellador en spray
• Pintura acrilica en color rosa
• Brocha pequeña
• Ojos móviles
• Sharpie en color negro
• Fieltro rosado y verde
• Flores de papel de color azul
• Lápiz 
• Regla
• Una flor o planta que crece hacia arriba (preferiblemente en rosa). Nosotros utilizamos la flor Celosia.
• Pegamento blanco

Supplies needed:

• Tampico plastic container empty and clean
• Scissors
• Spray sealer
• Pink acrylic paint
• Small brush
• Mobile eyes
• Black Sharpie
• Pink and green felt cloth
• Blue paper flowers
• Pencil
• Ruler
• A flower or plant that grows upwards (preferably pink). We used a Celosia flower.
• White glue

Modo de elaboración:

1. Cortamos alrededor de la base del cuello del contenedor de plástico del jugo con las tijeras. Se recomienda que este paso sea realizado exclusivamente por un adulto. 

Preparation mode:

1. Have and Adult cut around the neck base of the plastic juice container with the scissors.

2. Pintamos el resto del contenedor plástico con pintura acrílica rosa y dejamos secar. Posteriormente rociamos con el spray sellador según las instrucciones de uso indicadas en el bote.

2. Paint the rest of the plastic container with pink acrylic paint and let dry. Afterwards spray with the sealant spray according to the instructions of use indicated on the bottle.

3. Hacemos la “diadema” de Poppy con el con fieltro verde. Para lo cual cortamos una tira de aproximadamente media pulgada ancho y para cortar medimos alrededor de la parte superior del contenedor plástico y pegamos en la punta con un poco de pegamento blanco. 

3. We made Poppy “headband” with the green felt cloth, which we cut a strip of about half an inch wide. To cut we measured around the top of the plastic container and stuck on the tip with a bit of white glue.

4. ¡Después pegamos las flores de papel azules sobre la diadema.

4. Then we glued the blue paper flowers on the headband.

5. Ahora ya podemos agregar los rasgos faciales! Pegamos los ojos móviles y la nariz que podemos recortar en forma de corazón sobre el fieltro rosa y luego usamos el plumón sharpie para agregar la boca y las pestañas.

5. Now we added the facial features! We pasted the mobile eyes and then nose that we cut in heart shape of the pink felt cloth, after we used the sharpie to add the mouth and the eyelashes.

6. ¡Finalmente agregamos la planta al botecito! Para drenar podemos hacer unos orificios en la base de la maceta con un clavo para drenar y evitar se seque la flor.

6. Finally we added the plant to the small bottle! To drain we can make some holes in the base of the pot with a thumbtack to drain and keep the flowers blooming.
