Sándwich con Hillshire Farm Naturals Ham

La preparación de un desayuno completo no tiene por que ser tan complicado. Sabemos de antemano que las tareas del hogar para todos sus miembros son interminables pero el desayuno al ser la comida más importante del día debe evitarse pasar por alto y tratar de buscar opciones simples y nutritivas que además de hacer del desayuno una aventura que nos permita mezclar ingredientes llene el momento de una grata convivencia familiar.

Durante las mañanas, una de mis opciones favoritas son los sandwiches pues su preparación no exige mucho trabajo y en pocos minutos está listo para servirse a la mesa.  Hace unos días fui a mi tienda Safeway ubicada muy cerca de mi casa y encontré el jamón Hillshire Farm Naturals®, una nueva línea premium de carnes frías que no contiene ingredientes artificiales, conservantes ni colorantes y sin nitratos añadidos, excepto los que se producen naturalmente en el jugo de apio. Opté por comprar Hillshire Farm Naturals® Honey Roasted Ham para nuestra próxima receta. 

During the morning, one of my favorite choices are sandwiches as their preparation does not require a lot of work and within minutes is ready to serve at the table. A few days ago I went to Safeway located very close to my house and found the Hillshire Farm Naturals® ham, a new line of premium meats containing no artificial ingredients (minimally processed), preservatives, or colors. No added nitrates/nitrites. *Except for those which naturally occurre in the celery juice powder.  I chose to buy Hillshire Farm Naturals® Honey Roasted Ham for our next recipe.

With ingredients ready, the next morning I prepared some delicious ham sandwiches. Here I will share the recipe. Make sure you try it, you certainly will not regret it!.

Tiempo de elaboración: 15 minutos – Preparation time: 15 minutes

Rinde: 3 porciones – Yield: 3 servings

Ingredientes – Ingredients

• 9 rebanadas de Hillshire Natural Honey Roasted Ham / 9 slices Hillshire Natural Honey Roasted Ham
• 3 hojas de lechuga Romana / 3 leaves of Romaine lettuce
• 1 jitomate pequeño cortado en rodajas / 1 small tomato cut into slices
• 3 rodajas de cebolla / 3 slices of onion
  
• 2 cucharadas de rodajas de chiles jalapeño en escabeche / 2 tablespoons sliced of pickled jalapeno peppers
• 3 cucharaditas de mayonesa / 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
• 1/2 taza de aguacate maduro y molido / 1/2 cup of a ripe mashed avocado
  
• 6 rebanadas de pan integral / 6 slices of  wheat bread

Preparación  – Cooking instructions

1. Mezcla bien el aguacate con la mayonesa / Mix well the avocado the with mayonnaise.
2. Unta las rebanadas de pan con la mezcla / Spread the slices of bread with the mixture.
3. Rellena las rebanadas con los ingredientes restantes hasta formar 3 sándwiches / Fill slices with remaining ingredients to built 3 sandwiches
4. ¡Sirve y disfruta! / Serve and enjoy!
